When a customer sign up for GDI, apart from the domains, hosting and income opportunity, customers also received webmail services or email accounts that they can use as a professional email address.

For example, customers can use an email address such as:

contact@mycompany.ws rather than mycompany@gmail.com

which will look more professional especially when conducting a business.

By now, you may have seen the notice at Email.ws mentioning the forthcoming launch of our all-new, cutting-edge webmail system. Our customers have been asking for a better interface to handle their email needs for a long time. We believe you will be amazed with the difference!

Please be advised we are migrating from the system we had for several years to a completely new system. As part of this, all email boxes will need to be converted and made compatible with the new system. The migration process will be completed over the course of a few days. This does not mean individual mailboxes will be inaccessible over the course of the migration; you may continue to login to your mailbox, check messages, and send mail as you always have. If you try to login while your email address is being migrated, you will be taken to the new interface. If you are logged in to a mailbox when its migration takes place, the new interface will display on your next click. No messages will be lost: all folders, messages, signatures, and address books will be migrated to the new system. All incoming mail will continue to be accepted to your inbox during the migration. We will not bounce incoming mail.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the cool new features coming soon:

• AJAX Interface: AJAX is an exciting technology allowing you to manage your email and address book in completely interactive ways all from within your normal web browser.
• Searching: Our customers will have the ability to perform keyword-based searches of their email.
• Calendaring: You will be able to use our new webmail system as a portal for all your email and scheduling needs.

These are just a hint of the features our new webmail system will include. This is not an upgrade built on top of our current system. This is a completely new email system that will rival anything found anywhere else on the internet: all at no extra cost for our valued customers!
