How to Cancel Your Global Domains International Membership

I decided to write this post on showing you the way to cancel your GDI not because GDI does not work but only because things may not work out for everyone and you should easily cancel your membership at any time.

There are two reasons for this post:

First Reason: Reluctant to Try out Unsure if You can Actually Cancel

You get 7 days Free Trial to test out GDI, maybe you feel it does not work for you and you would like to cancel it. Since GDI asked for your credit card upfront, you are not sure if you can actually cancel it and reluctant to take this opportunity to try GDI.

Many have asked the question about the 7 day Free Trial:

The Question:

Since it is a Free trial, why do I have to sign up with a credit card?

The Answer:

As it is for any business, GDI needs to make sure you are actually serious enough to try out the system. If anybody is not serious enough to even sign up with a credit card, then no business owners will waste their time to prepare the system for him/her to try out. Since you will be getting a domain name and hosting, GDI will incur these charges and administration time.

It is like any money back guarantee product offers but GDI went further to not even charge your credit card until the 7th day so neither of you need to process any REFUNDS.

And here’s the good news. You CAN safely try GDI out for 7 days and cancel it before the 7th day easily if you feel it is not right for you and you will not be charged or have to request for a refund. I will show you an easy way.

Second Reason: Things Dont Work out and You want to Cancel

If GDI dont really work out for you, then I dont want to waste any of your time and money too! $10 may not be much for me ( in fact I dont even have to pay it ) BUT it may be a lot to some people and I dont want you to drag on paying the monthly fee if GDI does not work out for you.

If you have signed up GDI to fully utilize the system and the facility provided such as hosting, domain and at the same time benefiting from the money making opportunity, then you will not find any reasons for you to cancel GDI since you are already benefiting from the services.

That is why I encourage you to use GDI’s services to build you own personal website with your domain name and add links out to your GDI websites provided.

With this way, even if you are not successful at marketing GDI, at least you have used the services provided and is not wasting your money.

So HOW DO I CANCEL?

You can call GDI at anytime to cancel your membership. All the contact information can be found in your members area, log into your members area to contact GDI Support.

Bookmark Your GDI websites

As you might already realized, social bookmarking is very important to your GDI success as it has proven to attract traffic to your website and help your website to rank higher in search engines.

You can do it manually to bookmark to top social boomarking and networking sites. ( download the directory Free here ) or use a software to help you do it automatically.

One other GDI tip is to encourage visitors to your website to bookmark your website to their favorite bookmarking sites. The best way to encourage them is to help them, make it easy for them, by placing social bookmarking links or icons on your pages so that your visitors can easily click on them to bookmark your site.

The only problem was, which ones to use? There are more than a hundred. You cannot take chances and guess which icons to put on your site. You cannot put all 100 of them or they will overcrowd your site.

You may even notice that I have stopped using the Social Bookmarking WordPress plugins which adds 30 bookmarking icons as the icons have slowed my website/blog.

How do I know if I have Sign ups at GDI from my downlines?

Here is a screen shot of part of my email account ( 1-20 out of hundreds ) that shows the recent emails I received from GDI WS – Global Domains International.

You will receive emails from GDI as “WS Affiliates” which notify you for any sign ups below you – up to level 5 below your line. See the yellow highlight of sign ups from my downlines. So you will know of every sign ups below you. Of course, you can also see all your downlines in your GDI admin/members area.

You can also see from the screen shot that I receive emails for every prospect that watched the video presentation at one of my GDI website www.my.ws/residualpassiveincome ( which you will also receive when you sign up ). The emails notify you so that you can follow up with your prospects for any questions that they may have about GDI.

Hence I strongly suggest that you direct your prospects to the My.Ws video presentation website for more effective sign ups, as there will also be an automatic follow-up email that sends your prospects a Free Network Marketing Report. ( Note: You will only receive this notification for your own prospects, not for prospects below your level. This is to protect the privacy of your downlines’ prospects)

Use Video Marketing to promote Global Domains International

Another way to promote GDI is by creating a video on GDI and submitting the video to Social Video sites like You Tube and many more.

It is very easy to create a video nowadays, just by using your webcam, you can record your experiences with GDI or you can use windows movie maker to produce slide shows from pictures and turn them into video to upload them to YouTube.

The reason why this works are:

Social Sites like YouTube receives millions of traffic for you to get exposed
YouTube videos allow people to embed them into blogs and websites easily, if you have a great video, people will embed them into their websites or blogs. Dont forget many bloggers are in need of content!

Using Article Marketing to promote Global Domains International

A member just emailed me about using articles to promote GDI by submitting articles to Article Directory. I thought I should share them with you here.

Article Marketing is one popular, effective and Free way to market anything online including GDI.

The reason are when you submit an article, to article directories, you are infact:

Showing that you are knowledgeable in the subject
You can add a resource box with your URL at the bottom of the article
This helps create backlinks and traffic to your website.
Backlinks help your website to rank well in search engines plus…
Since hundreds and thousands of people try to find suitable articles to use as contents for their sites, they will use your articles to post in their websites with your resource box.
These people are infact helping you to distribute your articles for Free.
Again creating backlinks to your website and drive traffic to your websites.
There are also many softwares like HyperVRE that built sites automatically which automatically use articles from directories to generate content sites for adsense. This will again distribute your articles throughout the web for you for Free.

Now, many people absolutely HATE writing which does not help here. So they get someone to write them the articles. They are called Ghost writers. This is just a reminder to all GDI affiliates or members.

Many GDI members get caught up with promoting Global Domains International and totally forgot to make full use of the GDI features that come with the package, which is the domain, hosting and website builder.

Since GDI already provided you with ready made websites with your affiliate links embeded for you to promote the GDI system, why not use the domain and hosting provided to build your own personal hobby site? or business site?

I dont really like to buy leads as some may not be responsive and we may be accused of spamming. Try to send emails introduction about GDI from your own personal email especially to friends and relatives so that they know the emails are from you.

Honestly, I am not the kind to “force” anybody too 🙂 but hey we are not talking about forcing anyone here, there is no harm in introducing friends and relatives by simply sending them an email an introduction about GDI like “check out this site” or “check out this video”

What you can do is use social marketing as a source to market gdi without any costs. You can download a complete list (directory) of social marketing sites for free by going to Social Marketing Directory 2008

There are about 400++ listed sites on social bookmarking, social networks and social video sites. However, you dont have to use all of them in one go! Start with the most popular ones like hubpages, squidoo, technorati, youtube and facebook are a good start, when you have more time, then go on to use the others.

These are all free resources to get some exposure and drive traffic to your GDI sites for free not to forget forums and blogs.
